For those future scientists or avid science haters, I attempt to emphasize the applicability of the skills and analytical thinking needed for success, without the headache. I can help with specific problems/assignments that are causing you trouble or provide more general tutoring to help get you prepared for a quiz or test. I curate online resources for chemistry support on the side including material related to popular experiments and labs. I taught at an all boys boarding school in New England for 5 years that specialized in boys that have above average intelligence, but have not been successful in traditional environments. The majority of the students that I taught had an ADD/ADHD diagnosis in addition to struggles with anxiety, executive function, and other learning differences. During those years I both served as an classroom teacher and administrator therefore the profile of the student is very familiar to me -- especially with the 24/7 nature of a boarding school.
