Fantastic AP Spanish tutor

This is what my son (high school sophomore) had to say about Laura after spending a year with her preparing for the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam: I cannot recommend Laura highly enough. I was initially struggling to adjust to the fast pace of my AP Spanish Language and Culture class, and I lacked the language knowledge necessary to stay afloat. Once I started working with Laura in the fall about twice a week, though, I noticed rapid improvement and I finally felt like I could stay on top of and understand the work. Laura is extremely flexible and accommodated my busy schedule, and she has tons of materials to practice for each part of the AP exam. She’s been tutoring AP Spanish students for years and is highly experienced and familiar with the course. She’s also great at providing homework help, and can answer questions about both language and culture, as she’s a native Spanish speaker. In all our meetings, she boosted my self-confidence through her patience and friendliness. In the end, I went from my teacher telling me to drop her class at the start of the year to getting an A both semesters and a 5 on the AP exam. I can’t thank her enough for her extensive support in both helping me complete my classwork and prepare for the AP exam.

Laura has tutored my daughter for her AP Spanish test over several months. My daughter really enjoyed learning with her. She reports Laura is very kind, patient, and helpful. She learned a lot of new words, improved her writing skills in Spanish, and felt well prepared for the test. Laura provided a lot of material for my daughter to practice all areas of the test. Excellent Spanish Language Tutor

Laura helped me with AP Spanish Language course, and I highly recommend Laura for all level Spanish lessons. Laura is very patient, flexible and effective Spanish tutor. I am not a native speaker unlike other students in my class, and I did not have access to Spanish IV before taking AP Spanish Language course. I was very shy and hard time understanding conversation and verbal expression, and Laura tailored my weekly lesson to overcome my fear and go into AP exam with more confidence. I am planning to continue Spanish course this fall, and I definitely will continue weekly lesson with Laura who has helped me gain confidence and improve my writing, speaking and understanding both written and conversational Spanish.

Wonderful tutor for AP Spanish Language & Culture

I took the AP Spanish Culture & Language exam as a sophomore. I started tutoring classes with Ms. Laura less than a month before the AP exam. I found her to be very proactive in setting up appointments and she was responsive to messages. I was able to practice many parts of the exam such as the essays, conversations, and readings with her. She was able to understand my requirements and provide very helpful resources for the AP exam. I gained confidence in my ability to do parts of the exam I had previously not worked on at school. Very helpful and reliable Tutor

Laura has been a very helpful tutor for our daughter who is in grade 7. Our daughter practically gave up on the language but with Laura’s helpful her knowledge and confidence has improved a lot.
