I have a BA from Ohio State University and a masters in Mathematics education from Depaul University. I have taught all levels of math from developmental math to Calculus. I have twelve years tutoring experience. I placed in the 85th percentile on the praxis II exam for high school teachers. I love math and I enjoy working individually with students to help them succeed.

Excellent and Patient teacher
George has a way of explaining things that makes math make more sense. Going back to get a second degree after 15 years, my math knowledge was deficient to say the least, but George was patient and also able to teach me different methods to solve problems that were better for me than what we are taught in class. Highly recommend!

My son's high school homeschool teacher left us unexpectedly and there's no way I can or want to teach Algebra, Geometry, etc. We were so fortunate to find George and he started immediately, picking up where the teacher left off actually improving on my son's experience of learning. My son is not the biggest fan of school but genuinely likes working with George, says he's a great teacher and explains things very well. I am really grateful we were fortunate to find him! Would highly recommend!
