Hi! My name is Aidan, and I am currently studying Education at Loyola University Chicago. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping students grow academically and personally. Through my university coursework and classroom field experiences, I have gained valuable knowledge about child development, teaching strategies, and the different ways students learn. I especially enjoy working with elementary school students and helping them build confidence in their abilities.
As part of my education program, I have experience working in a second-grade classroom, where I observe teaching methods, interact with students, and support their learning. This experience has helped me understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment. I recognize that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and I believe instruction should be adapted to meet their individual needs.
My tutoring approach focuses on making learning engaging, interactive, and enjoyable. I strive to break down challenging concepts into smaller, manageable steps and use examples, guided practice, and positive reinforcement to help students succeed. I am particularly interested in supporting students with reading, literacy, and elementary-level subjects. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to help them become more independent, motivated, and confident learners. I look forward to working with students and families to make learning a rewarding experience!
