I earned my Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, along with a Certificate in Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved. I also completed a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences at the University of Michigan and clinical research training through the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Additionally, I hold active Basic Life Support certification.
Over the past four years, I have loved working with learners of all ages across classrooms, laboratories, and mentorship programs. As a Gross Anatomy Lab Teaching Assistant at Michigan State University, I guided first-year medical students through complex anatomical structures and clinical concepts in both small group and one-on-one settings. Beyond graduate education, I have designed interactive programs for younger learners, including an elementary immunology program for the Reach Out to Youth initiative and an adolescent health curriculum in Cape Coast, Ghana. I have also mentored pre-teen and teenage girls through Big Brothers Big Sisters to support their personal and academic growth.
My approach centers on active recall, clear concept breakdown, and actionable study strategies. Having navigated my own journey with test anxiety, I know firsthand how transformative the right strategy can be. I focus on helping students build true test-taking confidence by demystifying complex exam formats and simplifying challenging material. Every session is tailored to your unique learning style so we can make our time together interactive, encouraging, and highly effective.
