About Matt

Bio

My first tutoring job was in 2013, when I was a high school student teaching everything from calculus to SAT/ACT prep. Throughout college (and law school thereafter) I made ends meet by tutoring anything and everything. My strongest areas are history and english, especially writing, though I have also taught math. I have also worked as a college counselor and test prep tutor. I got a 1530 on the SAT, a 35 on the ACT and a 173 on the LSAT, and have extensively tutored all three tests...

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in History and Latin American Studies, with Honors in both departments. I then attended the University of Chicago Law School on the Law Scholars Scholarship program. I am a practicing attorney, so I am typically available on evenings and weekends.

I have been playing chess my whole life, and seriously from college on. I am rated 1800 on chess.com (or 1650 on 5 minute blitz).
