Helping you set and achieve your personal goals as a student is my passion. I studied Writing Intensive English and Marquette University where I trained, shadowed, and worked at the official University Writing Center. I also served as a writing tutor for neurodivergent peers with OYM Disability Services for three years. In addition to collegiate tutoring, I tutored middle schoolers with mathematics and reading with a summer program called Beacon Place located in Waukegan Illinois, where I grew adept to aiding younger students.
I've been told my tutees hang on to the teachings I impart, referencing our sessions to improve their performance long-term. As a writing and math tutor, it's important that the student not only improves the assignment at hand, but also, that they develop skills and strategies that strengthen independent learning.
In College, I balanced my tutoring jobs with a Suma Cum Laude, Honors Student GPA of 3.97, and served as the president of my a cappella group! I'm an incredibly active and clear communicator, ad understand just how important clear and concise writing is for an individual to develop. A good writing tutor should give you the ability to communicate your thoughts as best you can, and should support you in performing excellently on upcoming exams. I performed exceptionally on my ACT and SAT exams in high school, which gave me the privilege to choose between many wonderful academic options. For aspiring university students, I'm dedicated to getting you the same results.
