I help students make chemistry clearer, more practical and less intimidating. I hold an M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Toledo and an M.Tech. in Analytical Chemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
My academic and laboratory background includes General and Analytical Chemistry, quantitative analysis, chromatography, scientific problem solving and data interpretation.
I also have hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, UV-Visible spectroscopy and Excel-based scientific data analysis. In addition, I am building skills in Python, data analysis, machine learning and neural networks through applied AI coursework.
At the University of Toledo, I supported laboratory and research activities and guided undergraduate and doctoral students through experiments involving HPLC-UV, GC-MS, GC-FID, chromatography and quantitative analysis of complex samples. These experiences taught me how to explain technical topics clearly and connect classroom concepts to real laboratory applications.
My tutoring style is patient, structured and encouraging. I identify where a student is struggling, break the topic into simple steps and use examples and practice problems to build understanding and confidence. I can support high-school, undergraduate, and early graduate students in General Chemistry, College Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, chromatography fundamentals, scientific data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and beginner Python.
