After I left, I continued to tutor three students one-on-one in writing and literature. I bring joy and humor to the classroom and am proud that my students feel good about themselves as they learn and take on new challenges.
I also have marketing experience. I was the Creative Content Manager for a Tony Award-winning LORT theatre where I managed their social media and wrote most of our marketing copy, including email and social campaigns, development materials, and other promotional content. I also directed our show trailers and other video content, and produced a podcast for the the theatre. Our Instagram following increased by 44% during my time at the theatre. I am currently a Graduate Assistant while I study for my MFA (Master of Fine Arts) in Film and Television Directing, with a 4.0 GPA. As a Graduate Assistant, I support the professors in teaching and mentoring the undergraduate BFA Studio class as they take their films from development to post-production.
I have my bachelor's in English, where I predominantly studied theatre, literature, and creative writing. I have been writing since I was a child. I have been published in newspapers and a research journal. I have also written and performed poetry. Writing of all types is my strength, though I have a preference for creative writing. While teaching at the high school, I also supported our College and Career department by giving feedback on college essays and meeting with students and families to discuss their essays.
