I am a PhD student in Cognition and a Post-Master's Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate holder with more than 20 years of experience supporting autistic individuals and their families across educational, clinical, home, and community settings. Throughout my career, I have been committed to providing evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and person-centered support that respects the unique strengths, needs, and goals of each individual. My professional background includes extensive experience in applied behavior analysis, autism support, caregiver education, staff training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In addition to my clinical experience, I have spent more than seven years providing tutoring, coaching, and educational support to students, caregivers, educators, and professionals. I enjoy helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of autism, behavior analysis, cognition, learning theory, executive functioning, and evidence-based intervention strategies. I also provide support for those preparing for RBT certification, completing ABA-related coursework, or seeking to strengthen their knowledge of behavior analytic principles and practices.
My current doctoral research focuses on advancing empathy-based care within Applied Behavior Analysis and improving the training and support provided to ABA professionals. Through my dissertation work, I am exploring ways to integrate cognitive science, empathy, and behavioral principles to promote more effective, ethical, and compassionate services. Whether working with college students, aspiring behavior technicians, parents seeking a better understanding of autism, or professionals looking to expand their skills, I strive to provide individualized, research-informed instruction that promotes meaningful learning, confidence, and long-term success.
