Hi, I’m Grace! I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a specialization in bilingual care! I’m passionate about learning new languages and exploring different cultures, and I love sharing that passion with others.
While becoming fluent in Spanish, I received an Excellence in Spanish award for my language learning skills and my ability to adapt quickly to a new language and culture. I went on to use these experiences abroad as a teaching assistant in an ESL classroom in Spain, volunteer in a Spanish–English bilingual preschool, and later specialize in bilingual care during my Master’s program, where I completed over 100 hours of clinical work in Spanish evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders. Through all of these experiences, I’ve learned that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. As a tutor, I take time to understand your learning style so I can tailor lessons to your goals, build your confidence, and help you succeed in learning a new language.
Outside of languages, I also have a strong background in dance, including ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. I’ve taught at a dance studio, held leadership roles in dance programs, and was part of a dance team for six years. I’d love to offer private lessons or share tips if you’re interested! I look forward to working with you and helping you reach your goals. Thank you!
