These passions were cultivated by teachers who imbued learning with a sense of wonder and empowerment. They made knowledge accessible by detailing explicit learning outcomes, breaking them down into digestible subsections, going over the concepts by including examples, then integrating the student bit-by-bit until they achieve mastery. I use this same deeply collaborative approach in my tutoring! Of course, this amenable; I'm eager to empower students to have that "Aha!" moment. Therefore, I welcome resources or suggestions students or parents can provide. Let's collaborate in the learning process! I want to ensure each student is assisted based on their subject and individual needs. Learning should be calm, regulated, stress-free, and, most of all, enjoyable.
I have 2 years of tutoring experience for Auburn University, where I specifically worked 1-on-1 with student-athletes for the Department of Athletics. These students needed extra help grasping concepts in psychology and assistance with outlining, drafting, editing, and proofing reading essays for specifically English and Literature courses. I'm happy to work with High school, AP, Baccalaureate students as well as college students taking intro to mid-level Psychology courses.
