I am a dedicated early childhood educator currently completing my student teaching experience in a kindergarten classroom during Spring 2026. Through my training and hands-on experience, I have developed a strong foundation in supporting young learners in literacy, early math, and social-emotional development. I am passionate about helping children build confidence in their abilities while making learning engaging, interactive, and fun.
During my time in the classroom, I have worked closely with students ages 4–6 in both whole group and small group settings. I have led lessons, facilitated learning centers, and supported students one-on-one with skills such as letter recognition, phonics, counting, and foundational problem-solving. I also have experience creating activities like student-led surveys, hands-on math games, and interactive read-alouds that encourage participation and curiosity. I believe in meeting each child where they are and adjusting my teaching to fit their individual learning style.
My tutoring approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and building strong relationships with students. I strive to create a positive learning environment where children feel safe to take risks and make mistakes. I incorporate play-based learning, visual supports, and real-world connections to keep students engaged and motivated. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
