I have tutored students in math and science for over 15 years. Former students have voiced that they enjoy working with me because I meet them where they are and explain complex topics to them in ways that they actually understand. They say I never assume what they do or dont know and always respect them and the pace at which they learn.

I have formal experience working with groups of students as a Teaching Aide (listed above) as well as volunteer experience as a TA for high school algebra at two different schools in the Chicago area. I have also worked extensively one-on-one with students since I was in high school tutoring ACT math, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, biology, and physics.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have tutored many students one-on-one in algebra going back 15 years. In both high school and college, I volunteered as an in-classroom algebra TA for different high schools.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

have tutored many students one-on-one in algebra going back 15 years. In both high school and college, I volunteered as an in-classroom algebra TA for different high schools.
Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering

I was a TA for several engineering courses: Thermodynamics, Medical Imaging, & Molecular and Cellular Engineering. Because of a scheduling issue during my Undergrad, I took many courses through the Mechanical Engineering department instead of the Biomedical Engineering department including Statics, Dynamics, and Thermodynamics. As an undergrad, I worked in a lab that specialized in Medical Imaging and Robotics where I gained a lot of hands-on Engineering skills as well. As a Graduate student, I worked in a lab that focused mainly on molecular engineering topics including genetic engineering and quantitative virology.
