Hi, my name is Sterling! I scored a 177 on the LSAT on my first attempt, left a top 5 STEM PhD program to pursue law school, have years of teaching experience with multiple top awards for outstanding teaching as a graduate student instructor, and will be attending Northwestern Pritzker School of Law on scholarship in the Fall.

When I prepared to take the LSAT, I didn't use a prep course. I understand how the test is structured and can explain in real time why the right answer is right and why each wrong answer fails. Critically, I can do so in multiple ways until we find the right perspective that "clicks" for you. I take pride in patience and cooperative communication with my students.

My expectation for tutoring is that my students come with questions, recent PT sections, or question types they're struggling with. We'll work through problems and points of conceptual breakdown together as I help them align their thinking and strategy with what actually works on the test. I firmly believe that everyone can earn above a 170, and that taking a practical "comprehension first" approach (followed by time management!) is the key to breaking through to consistently high scores.
