Hello! I'm Pascale.

I graduated college in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in communication. At the time, I decided to delve into the non-profit space and worked in the trauma education department of a medical association. Though I learned a lot, after 5 years in the non.-profit world, I decided to explore professions that would excite me and make me feel that I was making a difference in the lives of every day people. That was when I stumbled across an opportunity to work as a teaching assistant in France.

I have always loved working with children, whether through tutoring or volunteer work, and always loved French culture so the opportunity seemed right up my ally. I applied and a few months later was heading to France for the most unforgettable experience of my lifetime! In France, I worked with groups of students from 2nd - 9th grade, over a 2-year span. I later applied for Teacher for America so I could become a licensed teacher in the U.S. and work with children in my local community. After two years at my host school, I landed at my current place of employment and have been there ever since. I've done a little bit of everything at my current school. I've taught in small group settings for students with disabilities, co-taught settings with 20+ students and general education classrooms. I've spearheaded the planning and coordination of my school's first ever 6th grade summer bridge program and this summer my principal and I took a group of 12 high school students to Montana to visit Yellowstone National Park and explore the great outdoors!

I firmly believe that all children and adults have the capacity to learn when given the appropriate tools and supports.
