My name is Ayman, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence in math and physics. I completed my undergraduate degree in Physics from UW-Madison and I'm currently a Physics PhD candidate at Uchicago. Teaching has always been a central part of my academic life. As an undergraduate, I tutored college students in a wide range of mathematics and physics courses. In math, I have worked with students on Algebra, the complete calculus sequence (Calculus I, II, and III), Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and Complex Analysis. On the physics side, I support students in foundational courses like Freshman Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, and Waves, as well as more advanced topics including Intermediate Mechanics, Intermediate E&M, and Quantum Mechanics. Through my graduate research, which focuses on General Relativity and Cosmology, I am well-prepared to assist students in those subjects as well. I also use Python regularly for data analysis and simulations and am happy to help students incorporate coding into their coursework.

In addition to private tutoring, I serve as a graduate Teaching Assistant for introductory and intermediate physics courses. In this role, I lead discussion sections, hold office hours, and assist with grading assignments and exams. This experience has given me valuable insight into common student struggles and what it takes to communicate solutions clearly and effectively. My approach to tutoring is adaptable and focused on understanding. I take the time to meet each student where they are and break down difficult concepts until they make sense.
