Hello! My name is Eitan and I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Iowa State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. I have two years of experience tutoring college students in core computer science subjects. My experience includes helping students with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and general problem-solving skills in languages such as Java and Python. I primarily work one-on-one with undergraduate students, focusing on building deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, walk through live coding examples, and emphasize debugging strategies so students become independent thinkers. My goal is not only to help students complete assignments, but to strengthen their confidence and analytical skills for exams, interviews, and long-term academic success.

In addition to academics, I bring 16 years of competitive soccer experience, including high-level club and varsity high school play where I competed in and won multiple tournaments. I have worked with younger players in both informal and structured settings, helping them improve technical skills, positioning, and game awareness. My coaching style focuses on fundamentals, discipline, and decision-making under pressure. I tailor sessions to the athlete’s age and experience level, whether working with beginners developing basic ball control or more advanced players refining tactical understanding.

I also have nine years of Torah cantillation experience and have guided Bar/Bat Mitzvah students in learning proper trope, pronunciation, and confidence in public reading. My instruction is patient and detail-oriented, helping students master both the musical and textual components. I work one-on-one with learners of varying ages, ensuring they feel prepared and comfortable reading in synagogue settings.
