Does your child struggle to start essays or feel overwhelmed by reading? I know how that feels. When my younger brother faced the same challenge, I helped him break tasks into steps, build clear theses, and outline paragraphs. Within months, his grades and confidence soared. That experience inspired me to help students of all ages strengthen reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while building confidence.
I earned a 5 on both the AP English Language and Literature exams, a perfect 800 on the SAT Critical Reading section, and 170+ on the LSAT, which tests advanced reading comprehension and logical reasoning. I’ve also written AP-style assessments for my tutoring business, giving students realistic, targeted practice. Because of this, 100% of my AP English students scored a 4 or higher, and 75% earned a 5. In my private tutoring business, I maintained at least 16 students at a time with a 94% long-term retention rate.
I teach K–12 students, supporting elementary and middle school readers with comprehension and writing, guiding high schoolers through essays, literary analysis, and AP prep, and tutoring math through Algebra I. I am kind, supportive, and nonjudgmental, with experience teaching students across ages and socio-economic backgrounds. In my free time, I volunteer as an art tutor. I strive to make learning engaging, confidence-building, and results-driven, and I would love to help your child succeed and reach their full potential!
