I have a strong academic foundation that supports my ability to tutor medical and premedical students across a range of science and clinical subjects. I earned my undergraduate degree in neuroscience with a minor in education from UCLA and am currently in my last year of medical school at Loyola Stritch. I have honed my study abilities throughout this time as evident by my induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Through medical school, I have tutored more than ten students preparing for Step 1, all of whom passed on their first attempt. I have also tutored medical students in foundational courses such as immunology and anatomy, including working closely with students who were required to remediate courses and who ultimately went on to pass. I have tutored and mentored pre-medical students through their MCAT and application process.
My tutoring experience has primarily been in one-on-one and small-group settings with learners, focusing on both short-term goals such as exam preparation and long-term academic growth. Central to my tutoring philosophy is empowerment: I strive to help students develop confidence, autonomy, and effective learning strategies so they feel capable of navigating future challenges independently. I will work with learners to establish goals, create study plans, and develop ways of critical thinking to approach difficult material. I am deeply confident in my capacity to help learners not only meet, but exceed their goals through personalized, empowering academic support.
