I am currently a student at the University of Chicago, where I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Environmental Studies alongside a Master’s degree in International Relations. My academic work is deeply writing and research intensive, involving essays, policy analyses, and long form research projects that require clear argumentation, synthesis of sources, and careful revision. Through this training, I have developed a strong foundation in academic and persuasive writing, and I enjoy helping students communicate their ideas clearly while maintaining their own voice.
I am especially experienced in supporting students with college applications, personal statements, research papers, and analytical essays.
In addition to my academic work, I have experience teaching and mentoring students in both one-on-one and small-group settings. As an instructional assistant at a Chicago public school, I worked closely with middle school students, guiding them through project-based learning and helping them break down complex ideas into manageable steps. I have also supported peers and younger students with college applications.
Whether I am helping a high school student refine a college application essay or assisting a college student with a research project, I focus on idea development, organization, and effective communication.
