I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Knox College, where I built a strong foundation in algebra, statistics, calculus, and quantitative reasoning. My academic training emphasized explaining complex ideas clearly, and I regularly used tools like Python and R to demonstrate mathematical concepts in practical, easy-to-understand ways.

For almost two years, I have tutored middle school and high school students online in subjects ranging from pre-algebra and algebra to advanced statistics and SAT math. My approach is highly student-focused: I break problems down step-by-step, personalize lessons to each student’s strengths, and help them understand not just how to solve a problem but why the method works. I have supported students with homework, test preparation, foundational skill building, and long-term academic planning, all while helping them build confidence and independence.

In addition to academic tutoring, I have worked in youth leadership roles where I supervised, mentored, and taught young learners in structured educational settings. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate clearly with students of different learning styles and to create a calm, supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions. Across all my roles, my priority remains the same: helping students develop lasting problem-solving skills, strong study habits, and a genuine sense of confidence in their abilities, whether they are preparing for class, standardized tests, or future academic goals.
