Hello! My name is Eric. I’m wrapping up my final months of medical school and am excited to give back all that I’ve learned over the past eight years of higher education by working as a private tutor. I tailor my approach to the needs of each student. Whether it’s helping middle or high schoolers develop strong study habits or supporting college graduates in achieving their dream MCAT score, I’m here to help.

I’m passionate about educational psychology and have spent time in college and medical school refining my tutoring techniques using evidence-based practices such as spaced repetition and mnemonic devices. My tutoring experience includes leading a group biology review course in college and delivering several lectures to medical school classes on the science of learning. In my medical career, I plan to specialize in child psychiatry because I love working with children and helping each one reach their full potential. In addition to medical school, I recently completed a Master’s in aerospace engineering, so I’m well-versed in algebra and calculus.

I also love helping students prepare for standardized tests. I’ve taken many of them myself and wouldn’t be where I am today without the fantastic tutors who guided me along the way. I scored a 34 on the ACT, performed in the 85th percentile on the MCAT, and achieved competitive scores on my medical board exams.

Outside of academics, I’m a devoted home cook, an avid soccer player and fan, and I love exploring new technologies, whether that means coding websites for my family or building tools to teach myself piano.

Computer Science

Computer Science

I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a minor in computer science. Computer science and programming have since been a part of my daily life. I have gained experience in Python, Web development (HTML/CSS/JS), MATLAB, and several other programming languages.
EMT/ NREMT

EMT/ NREMT

Hello! My name is Eric, and I’m a fourth-year medical student with hands-on experience in emergency medicine, physiology, and patient care. All the central topics on the EMT exam. I am passionate about educational psychology and have spent time in college and medical school honing my tutoring techniques using evidence based practices like spaced repetition and mnemonics. My background in both medicine and education allows me to translate difficult EMT concepts, from airway management to patient assessment, into clear, step-by-step reasoning for confident test performance.
MCAT

MCAT

I scored in the 87th percentile when I took the MCAT in 2021, and I remember the process being stressful, overwhelming, and doubt-inducing all at once. I'd like to help ease those worries by helping my students craft a study plan that works for them, filter out unnecessary resources, and strengthen weak areas. I have a strong understanding of all the resources, study strategies and practice question banks out there and am excited to share that knowledge with my students who are seeking to achieve a top MCAT score.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I have successfully applied to undergraduate school, medical school, and now medical residency. At the heart of each of these successful applications was a well-constructed, meaningful, and most importantly, unique personal statement. I love to help others get deep into the brainstorming process by refining their grammar and sentence flow, and helping them produce great personal statements.
Physiology

Physiology

I am just a few months away from graduating as a medical doctor. Physiology is all about understanding a part of the body as a system, a series of levels and connections that are manipulated to keep things running smoothly. I have studied physiology extensively in medical school and in college and am excited to help break down this challenging subject into clear, intuitive frameworks. I tutor at multiple levels, from undergraduate pre-med to medical students.
