I am currently a medical student at Chicago Medical School with a strong foundation in science, math, and test preparation. I earned my undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology with coursework in biology, chemistry, physics, and calculus, which provided the academic background I now use to help students understand challenging concepts. My education has also strengthened my ability to explain material clearly, connect topics across disciplines, and guide students toward problem-solving independence.
From August 2019 to January 2023, I worked as a tutor with Applerouth Tutoring, where I supported high school students in primarily one-on-one settings. I tutored AP Physics, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Calculus, as well as ACT test preparation (primarily the Science and Math sections). My students ranged from freshmen to seniors in high school, and I worked with them both online and in person. I focused on identifying individual learning styles, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, and using real-world examples that students can relate to reinforce understanding.
My approach combines patience, structure, and adaptability. I believe that confidence grows from mastery, so I emphasize both conceptual understanding and practical application. Whether helping a student raise their ACT score or strengthen their AP coursework, my goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel motivated and capable of succeeding on their upcoming exam.
