Hi, I’m Tapasya! I hold a degree in Economics and Statistics (GPA 3.7, Phi Beta Kappa) with a strong quantitative foundation in mathematics and statistics. In college I served as a teaching assistant for introductory microeconomics and was recognized as a distinguished teacher based on my student reviews. I was inspired by some amazing teachers to use these subjects as ways to explain policy, human behavior, and the defining problems of our world. I hope to pass the joy and discovery associated with mastering these tools and motivating their purpose in a student’s life and career.

Over the past several years, I’ve worked in economic consulting and research, applying mathematical and statistical reasoning to real-world problems. I’ve seen firsthand how skills in algebra, calculus, and microeconomics form the foundation for success not only in school but in many analytical careers.

As a tutor, I aim to bridge the gap between classroom concepts and practical understanding. Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with problem sets, or looking to strengthen your fundamentals, I’ll tailor our sessions to your learning style and goals! Can’t wait to learn something new with you!
