I am a highly experienced math tutor with seven years of helping students build confidence and mastery in subjects ranging from Algebra I to Calculus II. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University with a minor in Mathematics, and throughout my academic and professional career I have consistently excelled in math, earning a perfect 800 on the Math SAT and a 5 on AP Calculus BC. My background allows me to teach with both depth and clarity, drawing on a wide range of math and physics knowledge, from the elementary to advanced undergraduate level.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students on a personal level. At 22 years old, I bring a fresh perspective and a student-centered approach. I know what it’s like to be in their seat, learning in the way my generation understands and absorbs information best. I combine empathy with practical teaching strategies, using real-life analogies, step-by-step explanations, and repetition to make concepts finally click. I focus on understanding, not rote memorization, and guide students toward independence at a pace that builds their confidence.

I’ve worked with students from ages 8 to 21 and taught calculus to a class of 300 college students. I primarily tutor online, using screensharing and interactive tools to ensure students can follow along and engage with the material. My sessions are completely adaptable. Whether it’s homework help, studying for exams, conceptual understanding, or practice problems on the fly, I tailor my approach to each student’s current needs.

Above all, I aim to empower students to realize their potential. Tutoring isn’t just about solving equations. It’s about helping students see that with effort and guidance, they can tackle challenging problems and achieve results they’re proud of. My goal is to make math approachable, understandable, and even enjoyable, while giving students the confidence to succeed in school and beyond.
