Hello! My name is Anokhi, and I recently graduated summa cum laude from Knox College with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (GPA 3.98/4.00) with minors in international relations and health studies.
I worked as a biology and chemistry tutor at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Knox College for 2 years and was a teaching assistant for several classes, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, molecular biology, and biochemistry. In addition, I worked as a Peer Career Advisor at the Knox College Career Center, so I have experience working with students one-on-one, offering guidance and support in areas they are struggling in. I have experience tutoring students aged 11-22. I hope to provide my tutees with detailed explanations of key concepts from multiple perspectives, methods of approaching practice questions, and effective study strategies.
From personal experience, I know what it's like to really struggle with difficult science concepts and how helpful it was to have someone explain the concepts to me in different ways with many example questions so that I could fully grasp the concept. This is the kind of support I aim to provide to my tutees.
