My background includes teaching in Title I schools where I focused heavily on reading, writing, and math foundations, and I am passionate about helping students make real, measurable progress.
When I tutor, I take a highly individualized approach. I begin by getting to know each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals, then I tailor lessons to meet them where they are and help them move forward step by step. I incorporate strategies that make learning engaging and accessible, whether that means breaking down complex math concepts, guiding a reluctant reader toward fluency, or helping a student organize and express ideas in writing. My goal is to create an encouraging environment where students feel supported, capable, and ready to grow.
