In addition to my college-level teaching experience, I have taught 5th grade students at an elementary school, which equipped me with the flexibility and patience to adapt content for younger learners and varied learning styles. I’ve also mentored high school students in Chicago public schools, particularly around academic skills and college admissions—from essay writing and personal statements to interview prep and application strategy.
My strengths are in English, writing, and college admissions advising, and I tailor each session to fit the student’s needs, goals, and learning style. I’m comfortable tutoring both virtually and in person, and I’m known for being highly responsive, reliable, and supportive. My goal is always to help students grow in confidence, clarity, and capability.
