As a current 3rd-year medical student, I bring both firsthand experience and a strong academic background to mentoring pre-med and medical school applicants. I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology and a minor in Psychology, which gave me a strong foundation in the sciences, communication, and effective learning strategies. During my own application cycle, I received 25 medical school interview invitations and earned over 20 acceptances to programs ranging from Top 5 to Top 50 institutions. This experience gave me valuable insight into what makes an application stand out throughout every stage of the admissions process.
Over the past several years, I have worked with dozens of applicants on medical school admissions coaching, including personal statement editing, AMCAS and secondary application review, school list development, and interview preparation. I understand how competitive and stressful the process can be, and I focus on helping students present their experiences and motivations in a polished, authentic, and strategic way. My mentoring style is individualized and supportive, with an emphasis on constructive feedback, confidence-building, and helping students communicate what makes them unique candidates.
In addition to admissions mentoring, I have extensive tutoring experience at both the high school and undergraduate levels. During college, I worked as a student-athlete tutor, providing one-on-one online tutoring support while helping students improve study habits, time management, and exam preparation skills. I also volunteered as an in-person tutor for high school students in grades 9–12. These experiences strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and communicate complex material clearly and effectively.
