I am a current medical student with a strong academic foundation, having graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology and a minor in Psychology. My background provides a solid understanding of the life sciences, human behavior, and academic strategies essential for student success.
I have extensive tutoring experience that spans undergraduate and high school levels. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a student-athlete tutor, providing online tutoring support across all levels of undergraduate coursework. This role required tailoring explanations to a range of learning styles, often involving time management coaching and exam preparation strategies. Additionally, I have assisted dozens of applicants in their medical school application process, including personal statement review and MCAT prep.
Additionally, I have volunteered for over a year as an in-person tutor for high school students (grades 9–12). In this setting, I provided academic support in various subjects, focusing on building foundational knowledge and study habits in a one-on-one format. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate complex material clearly and foster a positive learning environment.
My approach to tutoring is student-centered, emphasizing active engagement, concept mastery, and confidence-building. I strive to meet each student at their level and adapt my methods to best support their individual learning needs.
