Hi, I’m Anya! I am a medical student at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. Before that, I studied Biochemistry as an undergraduate at the University of Michigan, where I graduated in three years with Highest Honors after completing my senior research project and thesis. I specialize in providing tailored admissions guidance, including crafting personal statements and secondary essays, targeted interview preparation, building school lists, and developing cohesive application strategies.
For the last few years, I have worked with many premed students and medical school applicants one on one throughout their admissions process and have helped students achieve their admission goals. As someone who had to navigate the medical school application cycle independently, I understand how overwhelming and uncertain the process can feel. My goal is to provide individualized guidance that helps students present themselves authentically and confidently while creating an application that reflects their strengths and experiences.
I have been tutoring since high school across a variety of subjects, including AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP English Literature, and more, and continued tutoring throughout my time at the University of Michigan. As an undergraduate, I worked both independently as a private tutor and as a university-employed tutor supporting student athletes. After beginning medical school, I expanded my tutoring to focus on medical school admissions through essay editing, interview preparation, and application strategy.
