Hello I'm Dumebi! I am currently a PhD student in Development Economics, primarily educated in Europe. I hold a Bachelor degree in Economics from University College London in the United Kingdom (ranked #7 in the world), as well as a Master degree in Economics from Geneva Graduate Institute in Switzerland.
I am incredibly passionate about breaking down complex concepts and understanding our world through the lens of economic theory. My fields of academic expertise also include Mathematics, Econometrics and Statistical Coding. Professionally, I currently work as a Research Analyst at the World Bank, for which I developed extensive skills in data management and econometric techniques using R and Stata.
I have over a year of one-on-one tutoring experience for high school students in Geneva, Switzerland, with a strong focus on the International Baccalaureate curriculum in the subjects of Mathematics and Economics. I strive to maintain an interactive approach and tailor lesson plans based on the needs of each student. Whether you are looking to build a foundation in a subject, prepare for exams, or need help in specific areas, I’m here to support you at every step.
I welcome any new resources or suggestions from students and parents to tailor each session appropriately. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!
