I recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and have been tutoring for over six years. I know how overwhelming school can feel, and my goal is to help students build confidence, take control of their learning, and feel supported. I create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel heard and empowered to ask questions. Beyond just mastering content, I emphasize study strategies, test-taking skills, and academic organization. I remind students to check in with teachers, understand retake policies, and stay on top of their coursework—because success in school is about more than just knowing the material. Overall, I love building relationships with students and seeing them understand the content that once gave them a lot of trouble.
My tutoring experience spans a variety of subjects and age groups. I have helped high school students with algebra, AP Calculus, and AP Physics, as well as guided them through the college application process by refining their essays. In college, I led small group sessions for Calculus 1 and 2 through a university program and served as a teaching assistant for two upper-level engineering courses. I’ve also worked with younger students, helping 3rd graders adapt to remote learning, and I have tutored adults with disabilities through the Partnership for Adult Learning program, designing personalized lessons based on their interests.
Outside of tutoring, I love attending live music events, exploring new places, and cooking. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a lesson, feel free to reach out!
