I earned degrees from the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania, taught at the college level for more than four years, and have professional experience at Bain & Company and JPMorgan. In consulting, I supported work involving Fortune 100 organizations.

Since 2015, I have coached more than 100 students and professionals and helped complete approximately 10 major student projects each year. Students I have supported have earned admission to programs at Harvard, Stanford, Yale, the University of Chicago, Penn and Wharton, Chicago Booth, UCLA, UC Irvine, Oberlin, London Business School, and other leading institutions. I have also helped professionals strengthen their applications and interviews, including one client who secured a new six-figure role paying twice their previous compensation.

My approach is supportive, practical, and tailored to your goals. I have spent 5+ years developing leadership and educational strategies for higher education institutions, including work with the University of Pennsylvania. In the last 6 years I’ve assisted writing personal statements for dozens, if not hundreds of students and early career adults. This year alone I supervised a cohort that included successful personal statements to admission to UC Berkeley, Northwestern, Columbia, King’s College London, as well as numerous fellowships, grants (totaling 45k+ in awards) and internships. I currently maintain a position at as a volunteer for admissions and am part of conversations that admissions committees are seeking in personal statements which I bring to my work. I am always seeking to stay relevant and each year stay current to what Universities and job seekers are looking for example I’m currently taking a course through my employer on considering AI on students and early career which in turn will help me better prepare my students.

I hold a MA and PhD in sociology from the University of Chicago, where I taught over 12 quarters of sociology related courses to 150+ students. During my tenure I was also elected to teach BA Honors Thesis for a year, managing dozens of project end-to-end and having more than 50% of my students receive top honors more than any other preceptor that year. I spent 4 years working for the National Opinion Research Center a preeminent institution for sociological research, and helped teams win competitive funding grants. My work is validated by publications and awards in respected sociological conferences and journals.
