Hello, Students, My name is Georgio, and I’m excited to help you master your studies with confidence. As a multilingual tutor fluent in English, French, Arabic, and conversational Spanish, I can adapt my teaching to different learning styles and language preferences, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning experience.

I graduated with High Distinction and a 4.0 GPA in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Power & Energy Systems and Microwave Engineering. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master in Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as an Honors student, where I integrate my analytical skills from engineering with finance to develop a well-rounded problem-solving mindset. My strong foundation in math and physics has allowed me to develop a structured and intuitive approach to problem-solving, which I apply in both my academic and tutoring experiences.

With two years of professional tutoring experience, I have worked with students across various levels, from young learners building foundational math skills to university students tackling advanced engineering and physics concepts. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my approach to meet individual needs—whether that means breaking down complex theories into simple, intuitive concepts, using real-world examples to enhance understanding, or providing step-by-step guidance through challenging problems. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

I specialize in tutoring engineering courses, mathematics (algebra, calculus, differential equations, etc.), physics, and French. I offer both one-on-one and group sessions, allowing students to choose the learning environment that suits them best. Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with a difficult concept, or simply looking to deepen your understanding, I am committed to making learning engaging, effective, and stress-free.

Specialization in both Power & Energy Systems and Radio Frequency & Electromagnetics. I conducted an undergraduate research on control systems to design a MATLAB application that explains step-by-step procedures of the Bode-plot, Nyquist-plot... I also presented my Final Year Project at the IEEE APS Student design contest in Florence, Italy, and won 2nd place: I designed from scratch a glove that translates American Sign Language to English, and display the words on a phone application - The glove incorporated an RF antenna embedded in it.

Electrical Engineering

I’ve always enjoyed breaking down complex electrical engineering concepts into something clear and approachable—whether it’s control systems, power and energy, or electromagnetics. During undergrad I specialized in both Power & Energy Systems and Radio Frequency & Electromagnetics. I built a MATLAB app that walks students through Bode and Nyquist plots step by step, and later worked on a project that combined everything I love about engineering: creativity, problem-solving, and real-world impact. I also presented my project,a glove translating sign language into English using embedded sensors and an RF antenna, at the biggest Radio Frequenc conference in the world and ended up winning 2nd place at the IEEE APS competition in Italy. I also spent a summer at Dar Al-Handasah working on the design and financial optimization of renewable energy systems, which deepened my understanding of energy and circuit design. Through tutoring and team work, I’ve found that the best learning happens when technical ideas are made simple and engaging—and that’s exactly the approach I bring when helping students.

Ideal Tutor Who Truly Cares - Exceptionally Recommended

Georgio is an outstanding tutor in every sense. His teaching style is incredibly friendly, clear, and grounded, and he brings a rare level of credibility and care to every session. You can immediately tell he’s deeply invested in his students’ success. Every conversation we’ve had has been meaningful and enjoyable—I’ve learned so much and genuinely looked forward to each lesson. The pace of his instruction was perfectly matched to how I learn—challenging but never overwhelming. The content he chose was fundamental, thought-provoking, and even fun! It made complex topics feel accessible and exciting. I also really appreciated the assignment he gave—it helped solidify what I learned in a way that felt both practical and insightful. I’d love to continue with more lessons like this! If you’re looking for a tutor who truly cares and delivers exceptional value, I can’t recommend Georgio enough.
