I’m Tori! I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s in Management Consulting. Through multiple degree changes, I maintained a passion for learning and creating a diverse skill set across multiple disciplines. I realized one thing held true- I enjoyed working with people! Not wanting to take the traditional business route, I took a leap into education.
I spent a year working as an assistant in a kindergarten classroom as well as teaching special classes. From there, I went on to obtain my masters in education, teaching fourth grade and middle school math and science. I held tutoring sessions as part of our extended day program when I wasn’t running the robotics club.
My favorite part of tutoring is helping students to understand there’s multiple avenues to tackle a problem. Problem solving skills are essential, and I believe it involves a balance of guided practice and independent work with feedback.
I look forward to working with parents and students to give the needed additional support for success in the classroom! Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a session.
