In admissions, my experience covers over 12 years of successfully admitted cases to top prep boarding school and colleges (Phillips Academy Andover, Pomona College, Choate Rosemary Hall, Georgetown, Wesleyan University, Columbia University, and others). I am myself an alumna of the Hotchkiss School, Pomona College, and CalArts where I was a full or partial scholar.

In piano, and all topics music, I have a BM from Pomona College and an MFA from CalArts and 6 years of experience teaching. I am happy to assist with classical (pop, jazz, experimental) piano or general musicianship skills applied to one's creative practice. My approach has many methods but is essentially student-oriented. What we do depends on where you need to get, and my experience and expertise has everything we possibly might need to go there. I have been coaching students in admissions to selective prep boarding schools, selective colleges, and grad schools in general, STEM, and arts programs. Our sessions would cover planning, portfolio review, essay coaching, interview prep, and much more. I have helped secure full rides to top US college-prep boarding schools, colleges, and grad schools for myself and my mentees with 50+ successful cases and 12+ years of experience. My mentees got in to Pomona College, Wesleyan University, Philips Academy Andover, Northfield Mount Herman, and more.

I look forward to helping nurture and articulate your compositional style however best I can and suits you. I am proficient in Sibelius, Logic Pro, ProTools, Ableton, drum controllers, orchestration and arrangement techniques and will help you find ease and methods for your unique visions and goals. I will support you in expanding your musical horizons via exposure to new music and assist in translating this gathered exposure into actionable inspiration fuel.

I have passed SAT French, and DALF C1 (advanced) French exams and was accepted to French universities. I have taken advanced collegiate coursework in francophone topics and attended youth politics conferences in France. I read, sing, and rap in French and have won school awards and competitions in French and done much creative writing and editing with enthusiasm. I would love to help you set up a plan for success in making French a part of your daily routine: easy and pleasant.

I have studied harp from scratch in college and graduate school and performed in an orchestra and solo. I have experience writing session harp music for pop songs.

A graduate student of producers such as John Tejada of the California Institute of the Arts. Studied advanced mixing techniques with Grammy award-winning engineer John Baffa. Produced over 50 alternative pop songs pop songs.

I am proficient in standard western music theory from early music through post tonal music theory. I can help at elementary, undergraduate, and even graduate levels, as well as for exploratory and exposure purposes in enriching one’s practice. I am also well versed in alternate music theories and methods explaining and facilitating understanding of how music works.

MFA performer-composer from the California Institute of the Arts where I studied with Vicki Ray of the LA Chamber Orchestra and the LA Phil New Music Group. Played classical pieces such as the Gershwin piano concerto in F, experimental new music pieces such as the music of George Crumb, and new music premieres by contemporary living composers. Served as opera repetiteur in opera productions, as worship pianist at churches, as vocal accompanist, in chamber groups, in orchestras, and on pop songs. Skilled at teaching piano for pop songwriters and making scores.
