I have spent the past four years as a middle school math teacher in an inclusive, co-teach model classroom. Prior to that, I worked as an enrichment teacher and private tutor. I have been tutoring since I was a teenager in the National Honor Society tutoring program at my high school. I attended Lesley University from 2015 to 2019 where I majored in secondary mathematics education. After graduating from college, I received my Professional Educator Licensure for Mathematics, grades 5-12 in Massachusetts, Florida, and Illinois. In 2022, I was honored as Rookie Teacher of the Year by SJC School District.
I am an expert in middle grades mathematics, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Statistics, Calculus I, Calculus II, and Finite Mathematics. I have had the privilege to teach all levels of mathematics, from Kindergarten through Undergraduate level coursework. I am also skilled in introductory Python and Java coding.
Throughout my years as an educator, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all backgrounds, including students with special needs. I pride myself on my inclusive approach to education and maintain the belief that all people are capable of learning mathematics to high levels with the appropriate supports.
