CPA Accounting Professional with a love for Teaching

I can help with Accounting, CPA prep, Math, English, and more as tutoring has been a passion and a privilege since my first year of college! My tutoring experience started in my freshman year of college when my English professor asked if I would be interesting in tutoring high school student athletes through a Chicago area-based nonprofit. The ability to impact the lives of others while doing my true passion, teaching, has made me eager to find ways to continue this passion ever since. I continued to tutor in that nonprofit mostly as a math, english, and ACT/SAT tutor throughout my 4 years of college, while adding an additional role as a tutor for the DePaul University athletic department. This role is when I started to blend my knowledge of accounting into an ability to help others in this difficult field. Accounting is a difficult and oftentimes stressful topic, but there is nothing more fulfilling to me than seeing a student I am working with achieve that moment where the problem clicks in their head, and they are able to use the analogy I gave them to apply it to a problem.

Now as a CPA and Big 4 accounting professional, I am a passionate teacher who enjoys meeting problems head on with my students, and providing them not just with answers, but with an understanding of how to get to the answers. I can tutor all college level accounting courses, CPA prep, college level math and english courses and more if you reach out to me with a course you need help with. I am a graduate of the DePaul University Honors Accounting program and credit their support to my foundation in accounting.
