I'm Cat! I am a current medical student (MD) and I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and a music minor in Piano Performance. I hope to use my expertise to help pre-medical students reach their goals, whether it be through helping writing personal statements or tutoring the MCAT (my score was 523). I would love to provide quality tutoring at a price that you can afford, as I believe learning should be accessible, while also keeping my experience in mind. Starting my sophomore year and ending at my senior year, I have been a TA for: General Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry. My role was to tutor students, as TAs would have office hours, and to help set up the labs and grade work. I would work directly with students either in small groups during the labs, or one-on-one during office hour tutoring. With this experience, I hope to help as many people as possible understand the material! I am comfortable tutoring any of the MCAT sections, as well as any of the following college courses: Gen Chem, OChem, Biochem, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology. I am also able to help with personal statement writing and general pre-medical advice.
