Hello! I'm a Harvard graduate with a passion for supporting neurodiverse students. I hold a Master’s in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capilano University, I have a deep understanding of human psychology and learning principles essential for teaching and learning. Growing up with a severe learning disability, I struggled in school and faced many academic challenges. By discovering personalized strategies that worked for my unique brain, I turned my life around. This journey has given me unique insights and deep empathy for students facing similar struggles.
My teaching expertise is rooted in my academic background and experience in special education settings. I specialize in writing and reading, foundational for any subject. I teach public speaking, study skills, and provide organizational coaching for academic challenges. My approach is about understanding each student's unique brain and obstacles and developing strategies that help them learn in all situations. My goal is to build a strong foundation of learning flow that enhances their overall educational experience. By focusing on personalized methods that cater to individual learning styles, I help students turn their challenges into strengths and achieve long-term success. I have worked with many Neurodiverse individuals over the past 7 years in group settings & 1:1, ranging from academic tutoring to other types of support!
