My academic background in mainly filled with science and medicine, however, I have always had a passion for writing. I tutored in biochemistry, biology, english, reading, and writing throughout my high school and college years and am now hoping to expand my tutoring into even more fields! I have mainly tutored high school and college-aged students in a one-on-one setting. I have some experience in a college-level chemistry TA role teaching larger groups as well.
I am a recent graduate from my Masters program and am therefore not far removed from studying and asking questions. My approach to tutoring is always to break complicated concepts down into more digestible parts. I am also a big fan of re-wording things as much as possible until I can find a way that makes these complicated concepts click for the student.
