During my time at Temple, I served as a STEM tutor during college where I tutored College students in Math, psychology, neuroscience, biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. I was trained in a variety of tutoring methods, including the I you, we do, you do method that I believe is incredibly effective in building students' confidence in solving problems on their own. During my experience as a tutor, I worked one on one with student of a variety of skill levels including students with learning disabilities. I utilize a patient and empathetic approach to tutoring in order to release any shame or embarrassment from the student. I will talk to you about your educational goals and work with you at the level you are at to get you to where you want to go. I currently work as a consultant in tech where I get to work with clients in higher education to configure and implement CRM.
I also played clarinet for over 10 years and I have taken 3 years of music theory courses, with one of those years being at the college level. I have experience in composition and orchestration, in addition to being a musician.
