Hello, my name is Faisal. I am currently in my last year of medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Thankfully, I was able to pack all my clinical rotations early on, so I have endless free time till I start residency in July (with the exception of some ongoing research and personal projects). A little bit about me, I graduated with Bronze Tablet Honors (top 3%) of UIUC after studying biology and chemistry. While there, I worked a teaching assistant for the Chemistry department as a CHEM 102 (Gen Chem 1) TA, Orgo 1/2 preceptor, and the Chemistry Department Curriculum TA (made all video content for the department during COVID).
Since my freshman year of high school, I was a four-year school associated tutor in science and math, having scored 800 and 36 on both SAT and ACT Math sections on my first attempt. After high school, I continued to tutor and teach with the Chemistry department at UIUC, as previously mentioned, and at a local tutoring center the past two years when I had the time. I have tutored most ages, K and up, and predominately STEM-related topics, including ACT/SAT/MCAT tutoring, medical school tutoring, and general application help. If you need any help in those areas, feel free to reach out!
