Anatomy

I am a 4th year medical student with extensive anatomy, physiology, pathology knowledge through school, board exams, and research. I have found various tools helpful for my students and understand each person learns differently. I want to make anatomy more simple for my students so they can apply this knowledge to exam questions and in practice in their future careers!

Biology

Throughout medical school and undergraduate courses I have covered every topic in Biology thoroughly. I have been tutoring in Biology for over 6 years to multiple students. I emphasize understanding concepts thoroughly by breaking them down, and developing creative memory tools to solidify material.

Interview Prep

I have helped numerous undergrad students get into medical school and medical students get into residency through application assistance and interview coaching. My approach emphasizes having questions and responses ready to go so my students walk into interview day calm and confident. I also enjoy helping my students assess which program best fits their needs after interviews are complete.

Pharmacology

Throughout my medical training, I have learned about all categories of drugs. I have learned drug mechanism, metabolism, indications, and contraindications for my board exams. Through my learning, I have gathered several useful resources for learning and I have created great tools to better solidify pharmacology into memory!

Physiology

I have extensive knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and pathology through my medical school training in a range of subjects (psychiatry, neuroscience, cardiology, pulmonology, heme-nonc etc.) I enjoy helping students learn these subjects and making them more fun to learn through breaking it down to simple terms, and creating fun memory tools and organization that well fits to how they learn.

Psychology

I graduated medical school and will be moving on to psychiatry residency the following year. My graduate medical education, as well as my major in Human Communication Sciences and Disorders have thoroughly covered psychology and related topics, which I enjoy teaching to my students. Through many years of school and tutoring, I have found multiple ways of simplifying material to make it more understandable and engaging for myself, and my students. I believe this builds a strong foundation and knowledge, and makes learning something to look forwards to, rather than avoid.

Study Skills

I have over 10 years experience providing executive function coaching services to students. All students are capable of success, they just need to find the best way to study for how their brain functions and they truly excel. I discuss goals with my students and teach them strategies to accomplish those goals and the tasks that accompany them. I add creativity when it comes to memorizing the material to optimize retention and make learning more engaging.

USMLE

I am a Northwestern MD graduate with over eight years of experience tutoring STEM subjects. I specialize in tutoring for the USMLE Step 1 exam and in producing rapid NBME score improvement in the weeks leading up to the exam, resulting in successful exam outcomes. I tutor students for Step 1 using a systematic study method I developed. My approach emphasizes mastery of high-yield USMLE concepts, precise answer differentiation, and identification of errors in clinical reasoning to drive rapid score gains.
