Hello! My name is Collin, I’m a WashU ’17 Magna Cum Laude graduate in Electrical Engineering with minors in Physics and Nanoscale Science. After obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree, I started a PhD at UC Berkeley in Electrical Engineering, but shifted into industry when my advisor took a professorship role overseas.
My Teaching Experience includes 3 years of volunteer tutoring (Each One Teach One St. Louis for low-income students), 2 years as a Circuits Lab Head TA, 3 years tutoring fellow undergraduate engineering students (10hrs/week), and 2 years of private in-person tutoring. I’ve worked with children as young as 10 and college students in Solid State Physics as old as 22, and believe that analogies form the basis of any successful lesson plan.
I currently work for Life Fitness as an Electrical Engineer and am local to both the suburbs and the downtown Chicago area. I’m free after work most weekday and weekends anytime, and truly enjoy watching other students learn new material.
