I graduated magna cum laude from Barnard College of Columbia University with a BA in Biology and attended medical school at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. From there, I graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and received a Distinction in Research award for extensive scholarly activity throughout medical school. After completing a Transitional Year Residency at AMITA Health Resurrection in Chicago, I will return to Saint Louis University for my residency in Dermatology.
In medical school, my work outside of the hospital focused on peer and patient advocacy, teaching, and clinical research, which in time developed a passion for academic medicine. I have 5+ years of tutoring experience, starting with basic sciences in undergrad, teaching the MCAT in medical school, and then continuing on throughout residency by coaching students on how to prepare for and succeed on their USMLE board exams. I have helped many students pass the USMLE Step 1 exam as well as improve scores on Step 2 CK. As someone who recently took all three Step exams, I am very familiar with the language, structure, and content of the boards and can help you step inside the minds of question writers.
