When I am teaching I like to meet the student where they are at. I will often take the first lesson to get to understand the student, what they are working on and and how they think before proceeding with a plan. Everyone is different and they all learn differently. I focus largely on figuring out the students struggles, and finding an intuitive way to approach points of struggle.
