Recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelors in Chemical Engineering Degree, I am now working at a start up and looking to tutor on the side. I tutored all throughout high school and half of college mostly in math and chemistry. I am a critical thinker and can grasp challenging concepts by breaking them down into logical and consumable ideas. Having recently gone through these courses and taught them, I have a good understanding of the way of thinking required to understand the subject full, not just to complete the assignment. Working in industry, I do still use many of these STEM concepts in everyday work and have been practicing what I learned in the classroom. I would love the opportunity to share some of my knowledge and excitement to others!
ACT 35 in math, AP Calculus AB score of 5, AP Calculus BC score of 5, College level Multivariable Calculus, College Linear Algebra
Chemical Engineering Degree with 3.62 GPA.
I love teaching and helping students understand the concepts and ideas that I get so excited about and still use everyday. I was recently in those shoes, struggling to grasp these concepts, but it is definitely worth the effort when it clicks and makes sense!
